The Gosford Regional Gallery, located on the shores of Caroline Bay, is a leading cultural destination in the region, showcasing local, national, and international artists. It is one of the Central Coast’s most cherished cultural landmarks. Surrounded by 26 hectares of public reserve and home to the exquisite Edogawa Commemorative Garden, the gallery serves as both a creative hub and a community gathering place.
Unifold was engaged to supply and install a 100 Series Acoustic Operable Wall, designed to provide the gallery with the flexibility to reconfigure its spaces for exhibitions, workshops, and community programs while maintaining excellent acoustic performance and visual harmony.
The Unifold 100 Series system offers an Rw41 acoustic rating, ensuring sound control without compromising openness and accessibility, allowing a space that balances functionality and artistic expression, quiet when needed, open when desired, and always welcoming.
The operable wall enhances the gallery’s capacity to serve as a multi-purpose cultural venue, supporting both local and touring exhibitions while preserving the calm ambience that defines the site.
